USC Quarterback Caleb Williams Receives Annual Award for Most Outstanding Player in College Football. 

The entire Athletic Republic family is proud to share that brand athlete and USC quarterback Caleb Williams has been awarded The 88th Heisman Memorial Trophy. College Football's most prestigious honors given out annually to the most outstanding college football player, Williams racked up 4,075 passing yards and a 66.1 completion percentage while leading the Trojans to an 11-2 record and the #10 National Seed. The Washington, D.C. native rushed for 372 yards this season, setting the single-season record for most rushing yards by a USC quarterback, and securing the PAC12 Offensive Player of the Year, Walter Camp Player of the Year, All-American Team and the winner of the Maxwell Award, given to the best all-around player in college football, just to name a few. Details of the final Heisman voting results from Deloitte reveal Caleb Williams received 544 1st Place Votes ahead of #2 Max Duggan's 188 votes, totaling an astounding 2,031 votes resulting in the 8th Heisman win for USC which breaks the record.

The evening was a beautiful gathering of some of the finest football athletes in the country, including fellow finalists Stetson Bennett (Georgia), C.J. Stroud (Ohio State), Max Duggan (TCU), and over 30+ past Heisman winners. Caleb Williams celebrated the evening by inviting with him his entire USC Offensive Line, mother Dayna Price, and father and Athletic Republic Franchisee, Carl Williams. During ESPN's backstory on Caleb's upbringing and interview with the family, he fondly looks back on his memories with "The Breakfast Club", a group of his guys who dedicated every morning at 5:30am for 4 years training at Athletic Republic to build their speed, strength, power, agility and stamina. He credits that time to teaching him the work ethic and dedication it took to get him to where he is now. Caleb's acceptance speech focused on honoring his coaches and trainers throughout his life like Athletic Republic co-owners Russell Thomas and Mark McMcain for "always holding me accountable as a man and... how to be a QB not how to play QB". 

Caleb honors his parents by saying, "You instilled a work ethic in me at a young age, and I can't thank you enough for it. From the training sessions and late night practices, even opening an Athletic Republic so my guys and I could go train. Probably the most incredible moment of the evening, was Caleb taking the opportunity to inspire millions of athletes around the world to follow their dreams. He sent a message out to every 11 year old that was told they were too small, to the 7th grader who was passed over to ignite their passion, to the 9th grader who wants to make varsity, to the 10th grader loosing in the championship game, and to the college freshmen that your time is coming, and if you have belief you will make it. "Back to work, the Job isn't done. If you are willing to put in the work and surround yourself with positive people, you can achieve anything! Dreams really do come true." 

Caleb Williams attended high school in Washington, D.C. and trained for years at Athletic Republic Capitol Region in District Heights.
