Training for Active Adults

Move better, become stronger, and stay healthy with our small-group classes for active adults. Get ready to take on the world!

Athletic Republic’s training for adults is based on the same evidence-based protocols and knowledge that we’ve used for nearly 30 years to train over one million competitive athletes. We’ve taken that same knowledge that we apply to building strength, speed, agility, stamina and power in these athletes and tailored it to meet the needs of adults with a variety of goals—from getting in shape, losing weight, being better prepared for activities such as skiing, tennis, biking and the like—to those  who simply want to feel stronger and healthier to meet life’s everyday challenges.

AR-FIT

AR-FIT, our signature program for adults, is a 60-minute full-body circuit training workout for adults at all levels of fitness. The emphasis in training is on developing functional strength, balance, and coordination between major muscle groups. The small-group classes include warm-up, activation, circuits/intervals, and cool down/stretching. No two classes are the same! A small athlete to trainer ratio ensures you always get the individual attention you need.

Mobility

Staying flexible is key for keeping joints healthy and moving well. Our workouts are movement-based and always include flexibility work.

  • “This is a great full body workout class. The exercises are challenging but one is always rewarded by the sense of accomplishment when you are done. The groups are small so the trainers are always watching your form.”

  • “Liz’s strength training class complemented with balance and mobility was excellent! Good pace with intervals and enough recovery time to move through each set. 7:00 am class is a fantastic way to jump start my day!”

    -Sally

  • “I've done the AR Fit class several times now, and I can say that each class has been a challenge, and each class has been unique. The classes have enough people to build camaraderie, yet are small enough to feel almost like a personal training session.”
